The Austin Chronicle rolled out its list of winners in its annual Best of Austin awards today. Congratulations to Eileen Smith of In the Pink Texas and Texas Monthly for a dual win in the Readers’ Poll, pulling down honors as Best Blogger and for ITPT as best Local Political Blog.
Also congrats to Allen Chen and his crew at Austinist for winning the Best Local Website - Fun award. A few months ago, Allen asked me to write some sports stories for Austinist, and I’ve had a blast doing that.
The final online-related award went to News 8 Austin for Best Local Website - News.
