Lance Armstrong History Wall at Trek

August 9th, 2007 · No Comments

Guy Kawasaki provides a photographic tour of his recent visit to the headquarters of Trek Bicycles, and there’s a section of particular interest to folks in these parts. In the atrium of the main building, there’s a Lance Armstrong history wall, lined with a bike to represent each of his seven Tour de France victories.

There’s even a close-up view of one of Armstrong’s 2003 bikes - the one he was on when he took a spill when a spectator’s bag caught his right handlebar and threw him off the bike. The impact of the resulting crash cracked part of the bike’s frame, but it held up as Armstrong got back up and went on to win that day’s stage.

Thanks to Guy for a fascinating look inside Trek.
