The panel schedule for the South by Southwest Interactive Conference is now available online.
The pages give hour-by-hour listings of the panels for the five-day event, along with brief biographies of each speaker.
While I’m on the subject, I’ll throw in a plug for the panel that I’m appearing on: “Designing for Convergent Devices“, which is set for 10 am on Sunday, March 11. Here’s the description:
How do you provide a consistent user experience across various devices (web, TV, handhelds, cell phones) that reinforces the concept of convergent services? A panel of design experts discuss the goals and benefits of creating a consistent user experience, and examine the challenges that lie in presenting those services across mediums.
Joining me on the panel are:
- Denise Burton, a principal designer at frogdesign, who has designed interfaces for software, web, kiosks, TV and mobile devices for some of the world’s biggest companies
- Ben Combee, a senior software developer for Palm and author of the book Palm OS Web Application Development
- Steve Hoffman, the COO of Zannel, a a new mobile entertainment network, and a former executive at Infospace
- David Richard, the president of Design For Use, a user experience design consultancy that has worked for clients in the US and India
I’m looking forward to a great discussion with these folks and hope you’re able to join us at SXSW.
