Happy Birthday, Papa and Sofie!

In addition to being Valentine’s Day, today is the birthday of two of my favorite people. My grandfather, Troy Jackson Kelley, turns 90 years old today, and my niece, Sofia Shane Gage, turns 1 year old.

Last weekend, we had a joint birthday bash for the two of them at my parents’ house in Dallas. It was terrific to see friends and family that I hadn’t seen in a while. I think both the birthday honorees had a great time, too.
