At the end of a post titled, “How to improve professional reporting“, Dave included this note:

Disclaimer: I am looking for a job as CTO or Chief Scientist at a professional publisher that wants to make a strong transition to the new environment. So here I practice what I preach, I’m floating ideas in advance of using them.

I actually had to read that twice to make sure I was reading the right blog, Dave’s Scripting News. Winer is one of the founding fathers of blogging and creator of RSS. He sometimes describes himself as a “media hacker“, and has done as much for the emergence of blogging as a communication tool as anyone. When he offers suggestions on how to improve your product, and then offers his services, you’d be crazy not to take him up on it.
