With only 26 days until college football season begins, it’s not too soon to begin planning for the first tailgate party. The fine folks at MapGameDay.com have made it easier to customize and share your game-day activities. It’s a Google Maps mashup that allows you to create sharable maps of tailgate parties, and other game-day events.

The University of Texas map is here, with some transportation spots and restaurants already filled in. Head on over and put your tailgate on the map.
